POPIA privacy notice

Waterproofing Paarl collects a small amount of personal information through this website. Here is how we handle it, as POPIA, Act 4 of 2013, requires.

What we collect

Only what you type into the inspection request form:

• your name and phone number;
• your email address, if you choose to give it;
• your suburb or estate;
• what the request is about and any description you add.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics.

Why we collect it

To contact you about your request, arrange a visit to look at the roof, wall or balcony, and send you a quote. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.

Who else sees it

The form is delivered to us by email through a third-party email service, which processes it only to deliver the message. If the work goes ahead, your details may be shared with the person who carries it out, for that job only.

How long we keep it

Only while your request, and any job that comes out of it, is open, plus whatever period the law sets for keeping job records. Then it is deleted.

Your rights

You are entitled to see the details we hold on you, to have them corrected and to have them removed. Ask through the inspection request form on the home page, or reply to any message we have sent you. Complaints about how your details were handled can go to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the new version will be published on this page. Last updated 5 November 2026.
